Join Naseem, Aluvian, and Tanzy on their latest adventure through the Faewild Forest as they seek bounty! Glory! And! ...Some general direction in life.
On today's quest, the two elves alongside their fairy muscle discover an abandoned tower and a felled hot air balloon. What might they find on the tower's peak...? Who is this "Talavar?" And, more importantly, can our heroes focus long enough to find out??

This project was created in conjunction with SVA’s Continuing Education “Digital Storyboarding” course. The first half of the class was dedicated to building the concept, script, character designs, location designs, expression sheets, and effects. The latter half went into creating the boards, sound design, music, camera moves, and timing. Links to those initial boards and animatic created in the latter five weeks of the course can be found down below. The animatic revisions established afterward are what make up the video shown above.

CONCEPT WORK :

The concept for this one comes thanks to my sister Elizabeth and her husband Chris, who, during the same evenings as my storyboarding class, were coincidentally engaged in their first Dungeons & Dragons campaign. Thoroughly entertained by their sessions’ weekly spoils, I took my hand at reinterpreting one of their stories as I’d imagined it. Both parties gladly agreed to voice their respective characters, as well as the remaining two, more pint-size cast members. (My apologies to the other medium-size party members, who were sadly cut for time.)
